***My Personal Review***
I really love how this book takes the paranormal but sets it in the real world. Sloan may have "paranormal" powers but she is a normal person. She connects to people using a power that even she doesn't fully comprehend which leads her to hide her true self from everyone ... everyone except a stranger named Warren who baffles her because for some reason he is blocked from her view but she is drawn to him. So what does that mean? Sloan is such a complex and beautiful character - I fell in love with her instantly because of her humanity in the face of her powers and all that she has seen. But she is thrust into using her powers to help find a serial killer albeit hesitantly and I do not envy her choice because both of the men she has on her side are "killer" sexy. But is one of them part of this? This book is a great read from start to finish and it weaves a lot of Sloans real life into the story as well - so we don't just see the chase but also who she is and why as well as how she got there. If you love paranormal books you should enjoy this :)

About the Book:
Blessed–or cursed–with a connection to the souls of others, Sloan Jordan can see the best in people… and the worst. For twenty-seven years, she's kept her ability to judge the innocent from the wicked a secret, but eleven young women have been murdered in the mountains of North Carolina, and Sloan may be the only hope of finding their killer.
She has just agreed to help Detective Nathan McNamara with the case, when a stranger--who is as alluring as he is terrifying--shows up at her doorstep with a dark past and another puzzling mystery: she can't see his soul at all.
Now, Sloan is on the hunt for a deadly psychopath with two irresistible men. One of them would die for her, and the other would kill to keep her safe.
