JAPAN MOISTURIZING TISSUES

#kawanotissue

***My Personal Review***

I have some pretty bad allergies and terrible sinus issues so I go through a LOT of tissues - it's one of the few things I always have to have with me at all times.  So I was excited to try these.  You can see from the packaging that there are 16 travel-size packages and they come wrapped up - just like any other travel packs.

I wasn't sure what the difference would be until I opened them.  When they say they are infused with twice the moisture I believe it - they are much softer than normal tissues, they are very clean and don't have lint flying off of them which is great for me.

They hold up well with use and there aren't any lotions in these tissues and I love that because I cannot use the tissues that have lotion in them.  These are made with 100% virgin pulp and contain glycerin and sorbitol for extra skin care.  All in all I am happy with them and I wish I could buy these in the boxes because I absolutely love the softness!  Check them out on Amazon for just $14.99!

SKENDA KNIVES

***My Personal Review***

I have been wanting a knife set like this for a long time.  I really like the fact that they come with the blade protectors especially since I have a child who loves to get into things.  I needed some good knives and this set has impressed me so far.  The knife ends are comfortable and make it easy to hold the knives and they are non-slip.  Each one is a different color and they range from a large Santoku knife to a small paring knife.

I had to look up a Santoku knife and apparently it is a Japanese knife that is used mostly for mincing and dicing very small pieces.  But I love the bread knife, it works great and the paring knife has been superb for slicing potatoes as I am very clumsy.  They clean up easily, I throw mine in the dishwasher.  I also like the fact that their blades are supposed to be antibacterial which is perfect for cutting meats which carry bacteria all the time.  With 6 pieces to this set you should be able to find a knife for all your needs.

PORTION CONTROL CONTAINERS

***My Personal Review***

If you are on a diet then portion control is very important.  This set consists of 7 containers that are all color-coded according to whether they are for vegetables, snacks, fruits, proteins and carbs and even seeds/dressings so that you can control what you are eating.  You get 2 of the smallest containers which are for seeds and dressings; 1 blue container which is for fats and cheeses; the yellow which is for carbs; the proteins container which is red; a purple fruit and a green vegetable container.  So you can schedule and pack your meal easily and quickly because when the container is full that is the limit for that item.  I just found out I am Diabetic so I am going to try this system and see if it works for me, and it is inexpensive compared to the 21-day fix which from what I understand has containers like these to set up your meals.  The containers are supposed to be 100% leakproof, I have tried a few of them and have not had any leak yet, the lids fit pretty snugly.  And when you aren't using them they fit nicely into each of the 2 largest containers to save space.

***My Personal Review***

I found out about 2 months ago that I have Type 2 Diabetes and I have other health problems too so I need to lose weight and get fit more than ever now.  Especially with having a daughter who is only 9, I need to take care of myself.  I really am liking this program, it's easy to use, has TONS of exercises to do and comes with all kinds of extras like calendars and great videos as well as other things to help you with your weight loss regimen.

I like the stickers that they give you for the calendar, it really helps keep you going and on track.  And with 8 DVD's you have hours of fitness routines so you won't get bored.  It all comes in a little pink box and there is also access to an online community of other women using the program to help you stay on track :)  For just $59.97 I think it is a great program and a lot cheaper than a gym membership and the best part is you don't have to leave your home!  Do it in front of your own tv and not have people staring at you.

Excerpt

Emotions warred through me, making it hard for me to decipher what I was feeling. Closing my eyes, I tried to still my pounding heart and calm my thoughts. Lightning struck close by, lighting the backs of my eyelids. I counted, waiting for another loud clap of thunder to follow. I’d made it to twenty-four before it happened again.
Twenty-four.
My eyes snapped open. I glanced at my cell. The date and time stared back at me, piercing me straight through the heart.
It was October 24. The day I was supposed to marry the love of my life.

-- Excerpt --

A buzzing sounded in her left ear, the same noise she heard when her earbud activated and took her into simulations. Terror surged through her. If it shut off, she’d be taken over by her slave gene. She managed to keep still. The noise grew louder, heat developing deep in her ear and spreading across her head. Sharp tendrils of pain whipped through her body, and she clenched her teeth to keep from screaming. Her knees grew weak. She was going to collapse, and, seeing the movement, a soldier would pull the trigger and kill her before she hit the floor. She thought of Nat, focusing all of her attention on memories of her sister smiling up at her and giving her one of those random hugs that made her heart seem to grow wings and flutter about in her chest. If she were going to die, it was the last thought she wanted to have.
Just as her legs threatened to fold, the symptoms vanished. The buzzing was gone and all seemed to return to normal, except she had the strange sensation of being disconnected from her body.
She sensed the soldiers’ nervous scrutiny of her and the other humans, but the Anunnaki didn’t react. Whatever went on with her hadn’t raised any suspicions. She tried to move a finger on her right hand, the side that was toward the other slaves, hidden from view. It didn’t respond, and panic swelled in her. Although she could still feel the cool air swirling past the bare skin of her face and arms, she seemed paralyzed.
Far ahead, the line moved forward, apparently going into the next chamber where they’d be scanned. Anxiety tightened its grip on her. How would she walk when it was her turn? She tried to move her fingers and wiggle her toes inside her shoes, but nothing happened. She was about to be discovered. The wave of movement swept down the line toward her. Putting every bit of intention she had on her legs, she tried to get them to shift slightly, anything to let her know she was in control. They wouldn’t move. She couldn’t even turn her eyes to see left and right.
If she had control of her lungs, she would’ve stopped breathing when the boy ahead of her stepped forward. Kelly cringed, waiting to be shot for not complying. She felt her leg lift, and as if something controlled her remotely, she walked after the boy.
Her momentary relief faded into terror. How did her legs operate without her command? It was nightmarish, like she was trapped inside someone else, able to feel and see everything, but unable to control any part of her body. She tried to relax, to assess this new development. Her lungs didn’t respond, so the deep breath she took was purely a function of thought.

He knelt in front of her with a bouquet of red sunflowers. They looked like a sunset exploded over the soft slim petals. His hair was thick and dark, just begging for her fingers to slide their way through their silky locks. The smile he wore was devilishly handsome. But it was his eyes that had caused her breath to hitch in her throat. Such love and devotion stared at her from those amber spheres. Hailey felt his love shining out of those eyes of his, felt it to her core. This man was everything to her, and he was finally getting off his ass and on his knee to ask her to mate him.
Apparently her declaration of wanting to spend forever with him was not good enough. He had to do it his way and that meant waiting three months for him to finally get around to this. Hailey’s patience had been wearing thin on the subject. Every time she would ask about their mating, he would smile, a secret hiding in the expression and tell her to not worry about it. He must have forgotten who he was talking to because worrying was a favorite pastime of Hailey’s.
But now, in this moment, he was getting around to doing what she had dreamed countless nights on. Sharply dressed in one of her favorite suits, he looked cleaned, pressed and sexy as hell. He wanted to look nice for her, she realized. Dak knew how much she enjoyed looking at him in a suit, it was like lingerie to a woman. Hailey however was something of a mess. She had been painting a bookshelf and for some reason, the paint was more attracted to her than the wood. She had blue smudges all over her arms and legs, matting a few pieces of her hair and a big spot on her cheek where a mosquito had bitten her and she slapped at it.
Dak reached into his jacket and pulled out a box. It was small and one every woman knew the shape of by heart.
“Céile,” he paused, mischief glittering his eyes. The anticipation that has nestled in her chest and the smile that had been growing on her face faltered. His expression wasn’t right. It didn’t match the situation. He was too excited, too mischievous and too playful. “Will you… hold these for me?” He handed her the flowers and bent to…tie his shoe?
What the fuck?
Hailey stared open mouthed, gaping and hands full. Without thinking, she flipped opened the box and found it to be empty. Her breath was ragged as color began to creep up her neck. This wasn’t the proposal she had thought it was going to be. Hell, it wasn’t even a proposal! What was he playing?
When Dak was done tying his shoe, he stood and took the flowers and box back from her. “Thanks,” he grinned and she wanted to smack him. “Oh wait, no. These are yours.” He handed back the flowers. “How’s the painting going?”
Still a bit shell shocked, Hailey took back the flowers but didn’t say anything. Her eyes were wide and she felt she had no control over her features as her mind raced. How could he just? When he knew that she? And then he?
Dak was smiling at her, knowingly. The Bastard.
“Sorry, Céile. I’ve got to get this box over to Dane.” He tossed it in the air and caught it. Her eyes followed the flip. “What would you like for dinner later? I’ve been craving Mexican, myself.”
Hailey finally found her voice. “T-that’s fine.”
“Good.” He kissed her cheek, the non-painted one and then walked passed her over to Dane’s cottage.

She found that even though he had given her flowers, she still wanted to throat punch him.
