***My Personal Review***

Oh this book made me laugh! I loved Frankie and even loved Inspector Cluesome which perfectly states the nature of his character LOL :) Frankie makes an awesome young detective, very good at it and even when he is "thwarted" he bounces back and doesn't let it ruin his investigation! And he was always so dedicated to his pursuit, it meant the world to him to solve the case. Evelyn and her cupcakes were a really neat part of the book, I loved how Frankie related to her and I won't spoil the ending but he meant a lot more to her than the reader ever would have imagined :) Great YA read for about middle grades, short and yet full of excitement and fun! The Gecko Poo just cracked me up! That and Con-See-Urge. You cannot read this without it putting a great big smile on your face and finding it a great fun read!

I'm excited to be a part of the cover reveal for Dead New World by Ryan Hill, an Action Dystopian that releases October 13th by Curiosity Quills Press.

Zombies aren’t mindless anymore.

Before the world fell into chaos, the undead existed only in the imagination. Now, more of them walk the earth than living. Zombies move about freely, while humans entomb themselves inside concrete barricades to stay alive.

With his combined army of humans and zombies, he may well get his wish.

Best friends Holt and Ambrose went up against the Reverend once. Holt lost a foot and a zombie bit Ambrose…though he survived the virus, only to become a human-zombie hybrid, reviled by the living and unwelcome among the dead. Excerpt:
I tried to get a good look at him, but the lack of light made it impossible. “They said most people don’t last a day after being bitten. You’ve made it four. I guess I should congratulate you.” Surviving this awful disease longer than most. What a terrible silver lining. I bet he wished the virus would get it over with and turn him.

“Yeah, lucky me.” Ambrose coughed into his bed sheets. “Maybe they’ll give me a prize, like some bacon or something.”

“What… what does it feel like?”

Ambrose shrugged. “Kind of like being sick. Had a fever at first, then some numbness over part of my body.”

“Is it getting any worse?”

“No.” Ambrose sniffed. “Some parts still feel like me, others… like these gray parts, nothing.” He pointed at his arm where the skin had turned a sickly gray. “They’re dead, I guess.”

Nancy loudly cleared her throat. “We need to get you back to your room. They patrol this place pretty regularly, especially when we have… guests.”

I nodded to her, then turned my attention back to Ambrose. “I have to go. I’m sorry. I wish it was me in there, instead of you.”

Ambrose stepped up to the window. The light from the hallway revealed his face. For the first time, I got a glimpse of what his loyalty to me cost him. I froze, unable to take a breath for a long beat. One of his eyes remained normal, but the other took on that awful redness. Patches of dead skin were all over his face. The guilt rising up seemed almost too much to bear. What kind of hell had I sent my friend to?

The Buzz About Books 1 & 2

Book 1: "I am 7 years old, and I loved this book because of EJ's imagination and how it focused on the real meaning of Christmas. The book made me laugh, and I especially liked the part when EJ used the shopping cart to pretend to be a race car driver. She thought her mom's scarf was a yellow flag, and she stopped just before she crashed into the display of glue bottles. I liked EJ's character, and I read the book in about 5 days. When we had "Dress Like Your Favorite Book Character Day" at school, I dressed up like EJ Payne. I can't wait for the second book in this series!" ~ Emily E., Amazon
Book 1: "My 9-year-old foster daughter loved the book! She related well to EJ and her spunky personality and humorous outlook on life and what it hands you. Great lessons for her to learn, as well as entertaining. She read it in a matter of days and even chose reading it over playing Nintendo, which is a huge endorsement! I also enjoyed it and found it a fun and comforting read for this 40-something adult. Great job. We're really looking forward to Book 2 of EJ's adventures at camp! Thanks, Annie!" ~ Lfierbaugh, Amazon
Book 2: "Church Camp Chaos is a delightfully funny look into the highly imaginative workings of a tween girl, EJ Payne. The book cleverly uses a combination of diary entries, narration, and hilarious passages peeking into EJ's daydreams. The story is originally clever and, at times, very poignant. I thoroughly enjoyed this fantastic book and I highly recommend this series to young girls in particular between the ages of 8 and 12 who also love Clementine, Judy Moody, and Ramona Quimby." ~ Renee @ Mother Daughter Book Reviews
Book 2: "Curly, my 8-year-old bookworm, loved this book. The day it arrived in the mail I let her look through it. By that evening she brought the book to me to thank me and tell me she was finished. She read the entire book in one day and I don't think she ever put it down! She enjoyed EJ's adventures and the fun times she had at church camp. She told me the book was "funny." I appreciated the way the book treated family relationships and showed a loving family who works together and endures different situations together. EJ and her brother don't always get along but their parents encourage them to be kind and EJ grows to appreciate her brother and even his slightly obnoxious attempts at humor. I enjoyed the life lessons that EJ learned about trust, faith, and friendship and am glad that I can find books for my daughter to read that are humorous and fun while still promoting good values." ~ 5 Star Review, Lextin Academy, Amazon

NIACINAMIDE CREAM

#InstaNatural

***My Personal Review***

Another great product from InstaNatural!  I have tried a few so far and have not been disappointed by any of them and this one was no different :)  I have pretty bad acne and this has helped to reduce that by quite a bit just after a few weeks of use, and I have noticed a definite change in my skin - it is softer and smoother.  This product is guaranteed - you have NOTHING to lose by trying it!  Plus it is made in the USA.  So many great ingredients in this product - Vitamins, Minerals, Aloe Vera, Avocado Oil and Hyaluronic Acid which are all well known to help skin problems.  This will also help anyone with rosacea because it is anti-inflammatory.

The serum itself is very light and rubs on easily and smoothly leaving no residue behind.  It can be used on any skin type be it oily, dry, normal.  Dr Oz even recommends using Vitamin B3 and we all know he is the guru :)  I even have a scar on my face that is not really noticeable but this lightened it even more which was amazing.  I have had the scar since I was a little kid (over 30 years now).  If you combine this with the other wonderful products from InstaNatural like the Rosehip Oil and Vitamin C Serum you will get amazing results!  And I guarantee if you try InstaNatural products you will be hooked as they are some of the best on the market.  Right now they are at an introductory price so get them and try them before the price raises and get that great skin you always wanted!

NUMBER ONE GLUCOSAMINE

#Glucosamine

***My Personal Review***

Ever have people that pop their knuckles all the time?  Does it drive you nuts like it does me????  They can possibly have joint problems from doing that a lot.  Everyone knows that Glucosamine Chondroitin is great for helping joint pain and issues with stiffness.  The hard part is finding a product that works best for you - this one works great!  It is all natural and comes with 240 caps in the bottle from Number One Nutrition.  The only warning is that it does contain shellfish so there is an allergy warning on it.  But it is MADE IN THE USA and that is a HUGE plus for me in buying products, especially healthy supplements.  I am going to recommend this to quite a few people who have Fibromyalgia that I know, and I think it could also be a great thing for a lot of individuals I know who have Williams syndrome like my daughter - WS causes a shortage of elastin in the joints, the rubber bands if you will of joints.  So anything that will help them from having pain is a super thing.

This is like putting oil in your car - it gives your joints and muscles the "oil" they need to work properly and keep going without tears or rips.  This would be a great supplement for anyone that has had back surgery, hip surgery, knee surgery - endless!  This is basically just replacing what you have in your body already, which makes it amazing and could possibly even STOP the progression of problems that could lead to surgery.  Get it started early and it might help more than you know.  I know it helped me, I have some back pain from a fall I took about 8 months ago, I fell on my porch and went down on my back on the steps.  I don't have health insurance so I couldn't go and have it checked, but it pains me once in a while.  I definitely noticed a difference after taking this, so apparently there was some muscle or joint damage from my fall.  I hope it keeps working to help me!  Give it a whirl!

EASY INSTALL MAGNETIC SCREEN DOOR

#magneticscreendoor

***My Personal Review***

This is a great screen door for any home/door.  Whether you want to use it for your sliding door or a regular door you will find this to be exactly what you need.  If you have a fenced in backyard and want your animals to be able to go outside whenever this is perfect - it attaches easily and sturdily to your door jam and then is held shut when you want it to using magnets, but is not hard to open.  So you can have your hands full and push it open and your pet should easily be able to learn to open it - then it will shut itself again so you never have to worry about bugs getting in as long as it is closed :)

Everything is sewn into the screen - the mesh, the magnets, so it will hold up to even the heaviest traffic households and is guaranteed!  Most people would consider this a product to be used only in summer - but you could use it during the spring/fall months to cool down your home without fans/electricity.  The mesh is very sturdy and opening it hands-free was a cinch - it doesn't pull off because it holds so strongly.  I totally love this screen door, I think it is something every household can use - I even told my mom about it because their apartment does not have a sliding door, it's just a regular door to their porch so this is something they can use there and not have to worry about bugs!

***My Personal Review of My Sister's Reaper***

I thought this book was very intriguing and something you don't read everyday.  It took the paranormal idea to a different level.  Zadie loves her sister Mara who is in a coma, and Zadie knows that something about her sisters coma and the events leading up to it were not right but can't tell anyone.  And on top of that Zadie also realizes that something in HER is not right and even goes so far as to believe she is not human.  When she finally figures out what is happening it leads her to meeting the "reaper" who was supposed to take her sisters life (called the Reaper's Rite) in which Zadie intervened and stopped.  So now Zadie has to make a very difficult decision - she either has to take on the reaper and defeat him to save them both or allow the reaper to take Mara as fate intended.  Highly emotional read, you can really feel how much Zadie truly loves her sister and how she would do anything for her even knowing that Mara is somehow different after the coma.

I really feel for Zadie's character as she struggles through life and it is pretty easy to see that Mara is the more popular sister and the kids are always making comments to Zadie, so bullying is definitely a theme that runs through the novel.  But Zadie also faces normal teenage problems like having crushes and finding herself.  The plot was tense and fast-paced, keeping me on the edge of my seat while reading it!  I am now excited to read the second book "Tethered" :)

***I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an open and honest review***

***My Personal Review of My Tethered Soul***

This book is definitely darker and much more sinister than the first book.  I really liked it because I LOVE dark and sinister though!  Now that Zadie knows she is not the normal teenager, she has her mentor but there are dark forces at work making her do terrible things.  Can Zadie overcome these forces and do the right thing?  And now on top of everything else, she also must decide whether to fight the reaper again for her own life or surrender.

Again, loved the character of Zadie - it is very easy for her to be made to do bad things but she has to fight it and redeem herself, figuring out who she REALLY is in the process.  The characters are always so real and you can relate to them and their situations even if they are living in a "magical" world of sorts.  Chase and Lilura are great teachers, but can they save Zadie from herself?  Once again Dreyer has led the reader on a great chase through a fast-paced whirlwind of action and leaving the reader to wonder what will happen at the end?  Of course I rooted wholeheartedly for Zadie to win, but you will have to read the book to find out!  All I can say is that there is room for more books in this series :)  Absolutely enjoyed both of these books and really cannot wait to see if there is a third coming out soon!

D-GAS WEBSITE

***My Personal Review***

This is possibly the best anti-gas product I have found yet!  I will admit it - I have a serious problem with gas LOL and it runs in the family.  And I get the nasty stomach aches and yucky feelings and of course the dreaded bloating :(  I normally use Tums and they work okay, normally takes about 1 hour to kick in and don't last long and don't always take it away.  D-Gas definitely worked miracles for me and helped take away my aches and stop the gas.  It's all vegetarian and all natural - which means NO CHEMICALS OR DRUGS.  That is always a plus for anyone!  They only took about 15 minutes to really kick in and take away all my pains and gas, so they worked much more quickly than anything I have tried before.  Another plus is that they took the gas away without causing me to be scared of being around people and having flatulence problems.

I had no side effects from it, and didn't have to worry about whether I was eating or not - I could take it either way.  I would recommend anyone with GI issues to give this a try and see how it works for you.  If it worked for me it can help you because I have a TERRIBLE time with GI problems.  Anything that can help me out is a great product in my book!

Praise
“EJ Wesley has written a modern day Breakfast Club.”
“E.J. tells a college love story with a real life feel. He has created a flawed and pitiful character who quickly becomes a rallying point for all the other characters of the story. Ernie is the sort of boy I could easily imagine myself being friends with in college and cheered on through life in general, but certainly the story.”
“EJ’s tale of a college baseball star and the demons he fights is powerful and captivating. Once you’re involved in Ernest’s world, you are invested for the ride. Fans of this genre will say EJ hit it out of the park!” Alex J. Cavanaugh, Amazon bestselling author of the Cassa series
“Great cast of characters. Lots of fun humor. Romance. Win! Definitely recommend!”
”This is not so much a “coming of age” story, as it is a “coming of self.” I loved reading it”"It is an inspirational, heartwarming story in which any reader is likely to get lost.”

“This story made me laugh and cry and it was so great to read something sweet and awesome from a guy.”
“Perfectly Ernest offers an emotionally genuine tour through depression, friendship, and love.”
“It’s wonderful when a story’s voice is so strong as to drag you into someone’s head so it feels natural. I devoured Perfectly Ernest.”

Excerpt:
“Please!” Stetson whispered urgently. “Get us out of here! This isn’t funny anymore!”
The Boogerman didn’t answer. It was beginning to look like every suspicion Stetson had about him was about to play out. Maybe he really was going to maroon Stetson in the Null Dimension. And to heap even more rotten onions on a moldy hot dog, he was marooned with his archenemy, Dana Coggins. Forever!
“Hey!” Stetson snapped, struggling to maintain control. “If you’re trying to make another point, you made it!”
Nothing.
Dana Coggins’ blubbering was getting fainter—he must be running in the opposite direction—while the ground-shaking approach of the monster was getting closer.
“All right!” Stetson said desperately. “I’ll help you write your autobiography. You need me to tell the world your side of the story!” He whirled around in a panic, frantically searching for any sign of the Boogerman’s acknowledging anything he’d just said.
Even though the beast was still quite a distance away, he could feel its hot, moist breath as it drew nearer. His clothes fluttered with each huge, putrid exhale. The worst bellowing cry yet came crashing down on him.
He screamed.
