***My Personal Review***

If you have ever had Yorkshire Terriers you know that they don't have normal dog fur.  They need special foods, special treats and you have to take special care of their coats.  Especially if you let their hair grow out.  Normal dog shampoo just doesn't give their coat the necessary nutrients and shine.  They are such gorgeous dogs they deserve to have the BEST when it comes to everything :)  I used to own several Yorkies and we bred them over the course of about 8 years.  I do not have them anymore, but I know a lot of people who have Yorkies and so I decided to get an outside opinion for this review :)

This product is used by a lot of people who breed and show Yorkies, and they love it - check out their website for testimonials and a lot more information!  The PH in the products is perfect for their coats and skin, and all the ingredients are completely organic.  Most people just shampoo their dogs and the fur looks great - Yorkies are different.  Shampooing them cleans their coat, but because they have a coat more like human hair (which is what makes them hypoallergenic) - they need a conditioner to help keep them soft and shiny.

The shampoo does a great job of cleaning as it should do, but when the conditioner goes on the coat and they are dried off the coat is just SO easy to brush out and looks wonderful.  And then you just spray on the sheen to really give them a complete "Yorkie-over" :)  Totally awesome products for totally awesome doggies!  I loved it and so will you!

Yorkie Shine was started in 2009 because of the fact that Yorkies have very sensitive skin and typical dog shampoos do not work well on them.  These products are not however limited to Yorkies - they can be used on any breed :)  Even cats!  The detangler is meant to be used as a "freshener" between baths or as a brushing aid.  The shampoo is made from aloe castile soap with organic oils of olive, jojoba and coconut.  No harsh chemicals to mess with the pH balance in their skin.  They do not strip the oils from the skin either, they are gentle and easy on the skin.  They warn that some dogs may be damaged and not realize it, therefore there can be a transition period when the oils and pH balance is restored and the coat may feel waxy at first.  They recommend repeating the conditioner for the first 3 washes to help this.  Just a little bit about the company and products :)

The sponsor would like to offer all my readers a special coupon code that will give you 5% off anything on their website.  All you need to do is enter the code PUR9969U2J at checkout and it is a one-time use per customer code :)  These products are not super expensive, and their trial or travel packs are just 2 oz of each product so you can give it a whirl and see how you like it before buying more :)

And our sponsor has generously offered to give away a set to one of my readers!  Just enter via the widget below to win :)

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
