My Personal Thoughts ... I have to say that I have read quite a few of Joans books and she is an AMAZING author :) I highly recommend her Grimmtastic Girls and Goddess Girls series which are all superbly written middle grade novels where the goddesses and fairy tale heroines are completely revamped and set in middle schools where the girls navigate life in mythology. Her Greek Myths board book set is amazing as well, my daughter absolutely LOVES the ones that Joan herself sent me and they are all signed. This is without a doubt an author that you can buy the book sight unseen and know you will love it :)
