I don't use peelers much because my daughter won't eat veggies and I am not a big fan either LOL but I DO love cheese, potates and apples and so does she so I used this for peeling some cheese slices and it was SUPERB!  I am a funny person and really love very thin sliced pieces of cheese or potatoes - and this is a very easy to use and sturdy tool to achieve that.  It is made of stainless steel so it will not rust on you, and it's easy to grip and hold.  It also has a hanger on the end so you can hang it up with other kitchen tools if you need or want to do that :)  Another great feature of this as compared to the old style peelers is that it is NOT just a normal slicer, it also can do Julienne, so both sides cut.  You can use this to make spaghetti noodles which I haven't tried yet but would like to!  It also comes with a 100% money back guarantee and right now is on sale. 

It also has a little instrument on the side of the peeler to take out the eyes of potatoes and because it swivels, you avoid the build up of leftovers from slicing :)  You will want to keep this out of reach of little hands, but it is MUCH safer than the peelers/slicers we had when I was a kid.  So pick one up and start peeling!  Honestly I think this is such a high-grade item it could be used in restaurants.
