***My Personal Review***

I found this a very simple and easy program for kids AND adults to use :)  I took Spanish for 7 years through high school and college but I am rusty from not using it a lot.  I also have a 7 year old daughter that I thought would enjoy something like this so I decided to review it!  She is not great with the computer mouse but she can download this on her iPad and use it to learn a little Spanish - and she picks it up quickly!  I really enjoyed the way the application used music as a background and scenes with the spanish words.  Like for "buenos noches" or good night they showed a little boy next to a window at nighttime and he was holding his head to the side showing that he was attempting to sleep.  For a lot of people especially those with learning disabilities like my daughter this is great because she can't read or learn from a book - she has to HEAR it or see it.  She loves music and learns very well through music.

The videos also repeat the words over and over so that you get a really good grasp on the language before moving on to more difficult words and phrases.  The kids in the videos definitely caught my daughters attention, she loves to watch kids so that kept her interested and she was trying to emulate them, and when we got to the song "Hablo Espanol" she went nuts!  She loved it and was trying to sing it all night after that :)  So I know she is learning from it and I even refreshed myself on a few things!  This is an absolutely wonderful application for kids to use and play on - they get to rate the videos and interact with the program and comment.  It is great!  And they can add their friends they know and it can be a great place for them to all learn together and chat :)  I highly recommend this app to anyone with kids, give it a try!  And they have at least 40 videos for kids to go through, unlocking them as they learn. 

And a huge plus ... if your kids love the songs from the application - they sell the digital versions on Amazon!  So you can get your kids their favorite songs downloaded and put in on their iPods or mp3 players to learn on the go too!
