***My Personal Review***

This is a super product - it is the first garlic press I have ever had and I think it works great!  Aside from being made from stainless steel, it is fairly light and sturdy and very easy to handle.   Plus it comes with a free eBook to help you with all kinds of kitchen aids.  The press is smooth and it is not hard to use, it doesn't stick or get caught on itself like a lot of cheaper kitchen items do.  I found that it handles even the larger garlic cloves like a dream!  Plus it also cleans up very easily - I was a little worried about the tiny holes not cleaning well because I have a spatula like that and it gives me problems.  But as long as I cleaned it right after using it or at least washed it off in hot water the pieces came right out and no mess :)

I found it easy to use and easy on my hands.  I have carpal tunnel and sometimes it flares up while I am cooking or baking which is hard because those are 2 of my favorite activities!  I love using fresh ingredients but have a very hard time grinding things or mincing, so I just buy the stuff from the store.  The other great thing about this press is that the cloves do NOT have to be peeled before putting them in the press.  And we all know that garlic is like onion - it is EXTREMELY difficult to get that smell out of your hands.  So not having to peel them first is a big deal.  I can imagine that you could use this with other ingredients you want to mince such as onions or ginger or possibly olives/capers.  This would be a superb item for any chef - professional or not.  It is definitely a great addition to my kitchen and since I LOVE garlic now I can have the freshest available in my meals :)

Since I have a 7 year old daughter I have since found yet one more unusual use for the press ... a play-doh press LOL!  Yes it is true - she found it in the drawer and because it looked so much like the ones she gets with her play-doh sets I guess she thought well okay then!  I couldn't find it one night and after she was in bed spotted it under the chair in the kitchen by her play-doh stuff.  I pulled it apart and low and behold there in the press was orange play-doh :)  I guess she felt like making spaghetti play-doh.  It made me laugh and thought I would add that little tidbit in my review.  So have fun with it!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
