Triumph of Chaos (Red Magic #3)
by Jen McConnel
Publication Date: March 8, 2016
Publisher: Month9Books
After the disaster in Europe, Darlena’s
starting to get desperate. She knows the only way to
defeat Hecate and the other crazy Red
Gods is by banding together with other Witches, but is it any wonder
she has a hard time trusting them?
With Izzy’s support, Darlena begins
making fragile strides toward repairing the mess she made,
but she just can’t catch a break. As
chaos runs rampant around her, Darlena begins to think that things
would be better if she’d never become a Red Witch in the first
place. But there’s no way to change the past…is there?
The final book in the Red Magic series
brings Darlena face to face with impossible odds, and a
terrifying choice.

***Official
Music Playlist***
I’ve
never really been able to listen to music while I write, but since I
do some of my best thinking when I’m out for a run, I thought I’d
share my current playlist that puts a spring in my step and helps me
unlock writer’s block.
“Don’t
Stop Me Know”—Queen (I will always, always love Queen; they were
the soundtrack for much of my college years, and when I downloaded
this song, it took me right back to late night study sessions and
parties with my besties.)
“Three
Little Birds” –Bob Marley (I know it’s kind of slow, but I
borrowed this song from my yoga playlist, and it makes for a nice
cool down.)
“Blank
Space”—Taylor Swift (Actually, anything on the 1989
album is perfect for running, and I get a lot of inspiration for my
NA books from Taylor.)
“Roar”—Katy
Perry (Because seriously, this song is made for running…and pushing
through obstacles.)
“Best
Day of My Life” –American Authors (This song puts a spring in my
step and a smile on my face, even when I’m ready to drop.)
“Fortuosity”—From
Disney’s Happiest
Millionaire
(My show-tune loving adolescent drama queen is still alive and well
inside my heart, and there are a lot of strange musical numbers that
make me happy when I’m pounding the pavement. This song is my
current favorite.)
There
are a LOT more songs on my running playlist, but that’s a pretty
good sample of the kind of tunes that get me grooving and smiling.
What’s your go-to song for writing or running?
