It sounds like it would be a part of the flower, but it's not. It has a fragrance all it's own and is great for so many things. I love the fragrance, and it is so light and fresh on your skin. It is packed with antioxidants and works for a lot of skin issues including discoloration, and it absorbs quickly and easily. Also works as a great moisturizer for your skin and contains plumpers to give your skin that wonderful healthy glow. This can help with acne and many more skin issues. It contains Vitamin C and Lycopene, both of which are superb ingredients for your skin. I am in love with Rosehip oil and the wonderful fresh feeling it gives your skin, and the benefits. This product comes with a dropper so that you can take just a few drops which is really all you need to use this oil. It goes on smooth and absorbs pretty quickly - I didn't find that it had a residue and it didn't leave an oily feeling on my skin which was great - I have enough oil on my face normally. And you get 1.18 oz so it will last you a long time. I have found that most rosehip oils I have seen are cold-pressed so that they keep all of their benefits.
