***My Personal Review***
Even if you aren't a diabetic you have probably heard all of the debates about different types of sweeteners and which ones are good and bad. Stevia is a great sugar substitute that is great for not just diabetics but also for dieters and anyone who wants to eat healthier. It contains zero calories and is an all-natural sweetener unlike some of the others on the market. So you are not getting chemicals and stevia is not known to have bad side effects from using it long term. It also has no carbs, and it comes in an 8 oz container. This is a great little jar to carry with you and use in your drinks when you are away from home.
Kiva has a conversion chart as well, showing that it really doesn't take much of their product to replace the sugar:
1 Tsp (sugar) = 1/8 Tsp (Kiva Organic Stevia)
1 Tbsp (sugar) = 1/3 Tsp (Kiva Organic Stevia)
1/4 cup (sugar) = 1/2 Tbsp (Kiva Organic Stevia)
1/2 cup (sugar) = 1 Tbsp (Kiva Organic Stevia)
1 cup (sugar) = 2 Tbsp (Kiva Organic Stevia)
So as you can see where as you would use 1 whole cup of sugar in something, just 2 Tbsp of Stevia will work. It is extremely sweet compared to regular sugar, so you need a LOT less Stevia to do the job. I have tried quite a few artificial sweeteners and did not really enjoy them at all. I made baked goods for my mom who is a diabetic and she uses one of them in her coffee, but I find that those sweeteners just don't taste like sugar which is understandable because they aren't sugar, but this Stevia was the closest taste to pure sugar that I have found :) I loved it and I think you will too, give it a shot!
My sponsor is giving one lucky reader an 8 oz container of their Organic Stevia, just enter using the Rafflecopter below :)
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
