Everyone has jumped on the probiotics bandwagon and I personally believe they are great!  I have tried the regular probiotics from the store and they worked at helping keep me and my daughter from sickness and she has terrible constipation issues due to her having Williams syndrome and they do help get your gastro system back on track.

 Basically probiotics are the "healthy" bacteria that our body needs to function correctly.  But when we are sick or have other problems and take antibiotics, it doesn't just kill the bad bacteria - it also kills the healthy bacteria.  This in turn weakens our immunity to the next bad thing to come along.  Taking probiotics on a daily basis is becoming more and more prevalent and there is absolutely nothing bad that can come from it.  Suffer from yeast infections?  Well the same thing occurs with those.  If you are diabetic you are most likely very prone to getting them - and men can even get yeast infections as well.  Yeast can grow in any moist area - if you wear a hat all the time, you can get one on your head.  You can get them in your lungs also.  By taking probiotics every day this will definitely decrease your chances of getting any kind of infection!  Most people don't realize that so they keep taking antibiotics and killing off those good bacterium that we need to keep our bodies healthy.
