My daughter is 8 and it has always been very difficult to get her temperature - the only place that I could ever get a good reading was at the doctor or ER. I always wanted to get a scan thermometer to help things but just could never afford one. So when this promotion came up I was thrilled and couldn't wait to try it. I am not disappointed at all! This is the perfect thermometer for any kid or adult and it gives you quick and easy readings without touching them! In fact you can be up to 2 inches away from their forehead to get a reading. And the backlit LCD screen will show green if their temp is in the normal range; orange if it is between 99.3 to 100.2; and red if it is above 100.4.
So you can tell immediately if they have a fever that could be a problem. This is a very high quality item, it is sturdy and comes with a nice case to keep it safe. Another nice feature is that you can turn the sound off so there is no more need to wake a sleeping child - no touching and no sound to wake them up :) So you can sleep soundly knowing if they are okay. I love this thermometer and I highly recommend this as a gift for a baby shower or new parents or even those who have been parents for a long time!
