Not only is Yacon syrup a natural sweetener that is better for diabetics than any other option, it can also help you lose weight, feel better and has many other benefits.  Yacon syrup is made from the Yacon root which is a tuber of Peruvian descent.  It  contains FOS or fructooligosacharides which is not only a source of fiber but also a zero calorie sweetener.  So you can use this for cooking to replace sugar OR you can take it as a dietary supplement, or both!  Studies have proven that it does work to help you lose weight, and I can say that after using it as a dietary supplement it has made me feel better and I am considered pre-diabetic and this did not affect my blood sugar at all.

It is very hard for me to lose weight because I am also asthmatic and am on steroid inhalers, so as you can imagine it is a very bad thing for my body but I can't survive without them.  So any product that can help me lose even a few pounds is fantastic!  I hope that if you try this product you get the same great results or even better!  It is definitely worth the money to give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!  Some people have even said this helped reduce flatulence, which in my family is a good thing!
