I have always wanted to try the Dead Sea Salt Mineral items but they were always out of my price range.  This however was different.  At just $19.00 it is actually cheaper than a lot of the salon products you can buy - and it is AMAZING compared to them.  I used to buy all of those fancy names from the salon and they worked okay, nothing great about them.  But I have very sensitive skin so I have to be very careful with store-bought items that are cheaper so my head doesn't start itching and become flaky.  I actually applied for this very promotion because the product stated it was useful for dry or damaged hair.

I have been using this for 4 days now since I received it and the very first night I used it I noticed a difference in my hair.  For information purposes I have VERY thick and dry hair and I do color it; so for me a product that holds my color and protects my hair at the same time is of the utmost importance to me!  I honestly have to say my hair has NEVER been so smooth and easy to comb out.  I have had very short hair for about 6 years now and am finally letting it grow out - and forgot how much fun it is to get knots and tangles :(  Even with a daily conditioner that is a very good product I was still having trouble.  But the first night I used this conditioner I came downstairs and combed out my hair with NO trouble.  I was hooked!

The first thing I noticed about the conditioner was the awesome scent!  I like sweet smelling things but I also LOVE clean and fresh scents - and this smelled like clean sheets and fresh air - and it doesn't leave your hair after a few minutes like other conditioners - I can smell it when I towel dry my hair and I can smell it even after my hair is dry.  It is a very silky and creamy white conditioner and you don't need much at all.  Just apply it to your hair and slick your fingers through it, let it sit a few minutes and rinse!  Works the same way any other conditioner does but with much better results.

I am pretty easy to please and I am not someone who has to always use the expensive stuff or name brands.  I had never heard of Adovia before, but now that I have used it I will most definitely be going back and getting more!  It is readily available on Amazon and they have many other products using these wonderful minerals - my next product from them is Dead Sea Salt soap :)  I am super excited to try that now!  I highly recommend this product and I will continue using it.  Adovia products can be purchased at many other places besides Amazon as well - so check them out, I promise you will NOT be disappointed with the results :)

SaltWorks

I did a little research on Dead Sea Salt Benefits as well and came up with a site called SaltWorks and read about them and what they can do for your skin and body - and this product contains these 5 ingredients PLUS many more - so you cannot go wrong :)

Why are Dead Sea salts beneficial?

Magnesium is important for both combating stress and fluid retention, slowing skin aging and calming the nervous system. Calcium is effective at preventing water retention, increasing circulation and strengthening bones and nails. Potassium energizes the body, helps to balance skin moisture and is a crucial mineral to replenish following intense exercise. Bromides act to ease muscle stiffness and relax muscles. Sodium is important for the lymphatic fluid balance (this in turn is important for immune system function). So we can see that bathing in high quality sea salt could replenish the minerals which are critical to our skin metabolism.
Studies have been conducted on the health benefits of bathing in Dead Sea salts. One such study was conducted by Dr. I. Machtey on 103 patients suffering from osteoarthritis and tendinitis. Patients were either treated with baths of 7.5%, 2% or 0.5% Dead Sea salt concentration. Improvement was found after as little as one week of treatment for those treated with 7.5% or 2% salt baths. By the study's end, 80% of the patients reported less pain; 70% experienced improved mobility and 60% were able to decrease their use of analgesics.
Dr. J. Arndt studied the effect of Dead Sea salt baths on psoriasis. Fifty patients were treated for 3-4 weeks, taking 3-4 baths each week. In as little as one week, many patients treated with a 10% salt concentration in their baths experienced marked improvement. This improvement included relief from itching, sleep disturbances, and skin scaling. Treatment with Dead Sea salts is not associated with any side effects.
