****My Personal Review****
I wanted to review this book because I have a daughter with Williams syndrome. And even though the book is about Cerebral Palsy, Williams syndrome individuals deal with a lot of the same issues - anxiety, depression, developmental delays and a lot of kids have trouble learning how to deal with them. So I can relate to this book, and my daughter LOVED it :) She is 7 and she cannot read yet - she is still learning the alphabet but she was able to try to tell me a little bit about the story which was awesome!
I think this book is great for any child, because it teaches them to be patient and kind to others who are not like us or have disabilities :) And we need more education on that in this world where kids always want to make fun of others.
The pictures were adorable, the artist did an awesome job on them. It was easy to read for kids, and I liked the way the author made it easier for kids to understand by saying things like "blue is when she is calm, red is when she is upset" - relating the colors to moods can help children understand things better.
Overall I would give this childrens book 5 stars!!! I loved it and I am thrilled I had the chance to review it and definitely think that all parents should read this to their children :) Highly recommended!
